1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website Blume Jewellery and the purchase of products from us.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. About Us
Blume Jewellery is a UK-based jewellery brand offering:
Preloved, vintage & antique jewellery
Handmade collections
Bespoke, made-to-order pieces
All pieces are either curated or individually crafted to order.
3. Products & Descriptions
We aim to ensure all product descriptions and images are accurate.
However:
Colours may vary due to screen settings
Natural gemstones may vary in colour, clarity, and shape
Handmade items may have slight variations
For bespoke pieces, final designs are agreed prior to production.
All pieces will be hallmarked in accordance with Hallmarking Act of 1973.
Any solid gold pieces over 1gram or Sterling Silver over 7.78g will be hallmarked. Please be aware takes around 1 week.
4. Bespoke & Made to Order Jewellery
All custom and made to order items are final sale and cannot be returned
A deposit (if applicable) is non-refundable
Bespoke/ Made to order pieces can take anywhere from 2-8weeks to make
Once production begins, orders cannot be cancelled
Customers are responsible for confirming:
Ring sizes
Design details
Materials
We may use customer-supplied or recycled jewellery materials where agreed.
5. Preloved, Vintage & Antique
Jewellery should be handled with care
Pieces of preloved jewellery can be very old and have smaller imperfections. They need to be worn with care
Inclusions or flaws are described in the item description to the best of our knowledge. Due to the age of some of the items we cannot take responsibility once the item has been received with you.
If a preloved piece is resized or altered for you it cannot be returned.
6. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£)
Prices may change at any time without notice
Full payment (or deposit where agreed) is required before production/shipping
For custom/ bespoke pieces a 50% deposit or more is required to begin making, this covers materials needed to make your piece., therefore it cannot be cancelled after this point. The final 50% balance must be paid when the piece is finished and will not be dispatched until it has.
We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors
7. Orders & Acceptance
An order is not legally binding until it has been accepted and dispatched
We reserve the right to:
Refuse or cancel orders
Limit quantities
Cancel in cases of suspected fraud
8. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers
Risk passes to the customer once the item is delivered
International orders may be subject to customs duties/taxes (customer responsibility)
9. Returns & Refunds
9.1 Your Legal Rights
Under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may have the right to cancel eligible orders within 14 days.
9.2 Returns Policy
You may return eligible items if:
Returned within 14 days of receipt
Unworn and in original condition
Non-returnable items:
Bespoke or personalised jewellery
Made-to-order items
9.3 Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method
Original shipping costs may not be refunded
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
9.4 Faulty Items
Under Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if goods are faulty.
10. Repairs & Care
Jewellery should be handled with care
We are not responsible for damage caused by:
Wear and tear
Improper use
Repair services may be offered at additional charge
Resizing is offered for certain pieces at an additional charge
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including:
Designs
Images
Branding
is the property of Blume Jewellery and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses
Loss of profit or business
Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the item purchased.
13. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
